http://snipshot.com — A cool online tool for making changes to your pictures. Easier to use than The GIMP, and no need to install anything - everything happens right in your browser.
LibreOffice.org
www.libreoffice.org — an office suite, comparable to MS Office.
Google Documents
http://docs.google.com — online wordprocessor and spreadsheet. Not as many features as MS Office, LibreOffice.org, or Ichitaro, but because Google Documents is online, your documents are available anywhere.
Google Earth and Google Maps
http://earth.google.com — Google Earth is a 3D program that lets you fly around the world and zoom in almost to street level. Works best on a fairly powerful computer with a broadband connection.
